Loving yourself in Christ means seeing yourself the way God sees you—through His grace, love, and purpose. It’s not about pride or selfishness but about embracing your worth as God’s beloved child. Here’s how you can grow in self-love through Christ:

1. Understand Your Identity in Christ

  • You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).

  • You are God’s masterpiece (Ephesians 2:10).

  • You are deeply loved (Romans 8:38-39).

Meditate on these truths daily and reject any lies that make you feel unworthy.

2. Accept God’s Unconditional Love

  • God loves you not because of what you do, but because of who He is (1 John 4:9-10).

  • Even in your weaknesses, God’s grace is enough (2 Corinthians 12:9).

When you understand that you are fully known and fully loved, you can extend that same love to yourself.

3. Forgive Yourself

  • Just as Christ forgives you, forgive yourself (1 John 1:9).

  • Let go of guilt and shame; they are not from God (Romans 8:1).

Self-love means walking in the freedom Christ has given you.
